Everything published on this site — checklists, guides, e-books, request-letter templates, and the Request Builder — is general educational information about records commonly associated with events, processes, agencies, disputes, and transitions. It is not legal, tax, accounting, medical, or social-work advice, and using it does not create a professional-client relationship of any kind. Requirements vary by state, agency, and situation; confirm exact requirements with the appropriate attorney, accountant, agency, court, insurer, lender, healthcare professional, or other qualified source. Services and written scope
PRC services are provided only under a written engagement with a defined scope — entities, properties, units, accounts, transactions, documents, users, storage volume, and review complexity. Published prices are starting points; the written scope controls. Nothing on this website constitutes an engagement, and no engagement begins until both parties approve the written scope. PRC does not guarantee legal, tax, regulatory, funding, lending, insurance, or compliance outcomes.
Orders
Product orders placed through this site are requests, not completed purchases. PRC confirms the total (including shipping) and payment options by email before anything is charged, and either party may cancel before payment. Defective or damaged items will be replaced or refunded — email us within 30 days of delivery.
Library membership
Records Readiness Library access codes are personal and non-transferable. Membership content is for your own use; sharing codes or redistributing member content ends the membership. Memberships run for their stated term; PRC will honor the full paid term or refund the unused portion if the Library is ever discontinued.
Client portal
Portal access codes identify your engagement — keep them private and tell us immediately if one may be compromised, and we will replace it. The portal shows engagement status and updates and delivers PRC's deliverable documents to you through authenticated, logged access; sending records to PRC happens only through your engagement's agreed secure channel, as our Records Handling Notice explains.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to access other people's records or accounts, probe or overload the systems, submit false or unlawful content through forms, or use automated tools to scrape member content.
Intellectual property
The PRC name, the PRC Records Readiness Framework, and the content of this site belong to Paula Records Custodian LLC. Free resources may be used and printed for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution intact. Redistribution or commercial use — including of member content — requires written permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and its educational materials are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRC's total liability arising from your use of this website or its free materials is limited to $100; liability connected to a paid engagement, order, or membership is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
Changes
Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use of the site after a change means acceptance. Contact: contact@paularecordscustodian.com.
